Gedoumaru is a Shikigami from the Ketsuno Clan. She was entrusted to Sakata Gintoki of the Yorozuya by Ketsuno Ana during the Exorcist Chapter, after the Yorozuya agreed to help her.
Cold and unyielding, Gedoumaru will stop at nothing to defeat her opponents. In Episode 195, she tricked other Shikigami into believing her mother had just died, only for it to be a ruse to lower their guard. If her master shows any sign of weakness, she will turn against him without hesitation.
Gedoumaru was captured by the Ketsuno clan while causing havoc on Mt. Oe in the Heian period. Since then, she has been forced to serve them, as she herself revealed in Episode 195.
