murakumo gai

Gai leads the Serpent Tail mercenaries. As a coordinator, he remains neutral, not aligning with either the Earth Alliance or ZAFT. His missions revolve around scouting, bombing, or stealing mobile suit technology. After encountering Lowe and initially stealing his Blue Frame Astray, Gai forms a friendship with him.

Similar to Lowe, Gai holds the belief that mobile suits possess a hidden strength that only the pilot can truly sense. However, he is indifferent to the war's outcome as long as he is compensated for performing what he deems to be the right actions.
