Forte is a sorcerer from a renowned and affluent family of successful witches and wizards. He is Sun's cousin and also her partner. Using a flute, he can control both people and animals. Forte is aware of Sun's difficult past and the animosity some relatives hold towards her, which once led him to confront them about it.
In the anime, everyone eventually passes the Magical Exams. However, in the manga, Forte and Sun pass the exams a year after Zero and Ichi. They also participate in the Advanced Magical Exams, though it remains unclear if they ever succeed in passing them.
Despite their familial relationship, Forte and Sun share a romantic bond. By the end of the main story, they confess their feelings for each other, with Forte promising to always stay by her side.
Ten years after the events of the main story, Forte's grandfather arranges his marriage to Rokka. This upsets Sun, leading her to disrupt the engagement party. Forte acknowledges that their grandfather will never forgive them for this, but he smiles as he says it.
