ezlo

A mysterious and knowledgeable hat-creature that Link meets in the Minish Woods. Ezlo is a grumpy, unpleasant character who constantly nags and complains about almost everything, especially Link. Despite these annoying habits, Ezlo possesses an astonishing amount of wisdom and his knowledge of the Minish World is unmatched.

Later in the story, Link discovers that there's more to the weird green cap: Ezlo is actually a renowned Minish sage and the former master of Vaati, the manga's main antagonist. Together with Link, Ezlo manages to defeat his former apprentice and restore peace to the kingdom.

Afterwards, Ezlo and Vaati return to the Minish World.
