Elny is a young tomboy genius with an IQ over 300 and the granddaughter of one of Angel's former Jinki scientists. She is a budding Jinki technician as well as a skilled Jinki pilot. Her favorite sport is soccer. Elny first met Aoba and Ryouhei in Venezuela when they were fleeing from the military with Moribito's core. With her assistance, the two managed to rebuild Moribito and resume their fight. In J:E, Elny pilots the Brocken Touja.
