Coo is a 13-year-old boy and the leader of the Black Gema Gema Gang. He serves as the group's doctor. Coo has been friends with Piyoko since childhood and shares a close bond with her. Occasionally, if food is tossed into the air, he will leap up to catch it in his mouth, much like a dog. The gang views themselves as a family, with Coo taking on the role of the "brother."
