Azumi is the daughter of the kumicho of Shibatagumi, a sub-clan that ascended to leadership of the Golden Dragon Clan after its previous kumicho, Odawara, was expelled following an assassination attempt on Ryuuji. Encouraged by her father, Azumi aims to seduce Ryuuji and secure a premier position for her clan within Kuryugumi. Although she matches Ryuuji's physical preferences more closely than Asago does, Azumi lacks the mental resilience needed to place herself in peril for others—a crucial requirement for the role of seisai.
