In the story's opening, Asago is introduced as Ryuji's fiancée, destined to become Kuryugumi's seisai, which translates to a virtuous or holy wife. Due to her engagement and her status as the daughter of the Silver Dragon Clan, the highest-ranking among Kuryugumi's subordinates, both her father and she herself exert immense pressure on her to be the perfect partner. This relentless pursuit of perfection takes a severe toll on her mental health and self-esteem.
For most of the narrative, Asago harbors jealousy towards Tsukasa, whom Ryuji spends much of his time with instead of her. Her resentment only intensifies upon discovering that Tsukasa is actually a girl. Asago is quick to display her temper and is hesitant to trust Tsukasa, considering her background as a katagi—a child of law enforcement or a law-abiding citizen. Similar to Ryuji, Asago excels in using firearms, sometimes even wielding two at once. It appears that she genuinely trusts no one except for Ryuji.
