Ayame, the snake of the zodiac and Yuki's older brother, is energetic, talkative, and often infuriates both Yuki and Kyou. He owns a women's clothing business that also attracts male customers, and he frequently wears women's attire himself. His shop is named after him and is co-managed with Mine, who is later revealed to be Ayame's girlfriend and the store's seamstress. Ayame designs dresses, some of which can be quite risqué. Despite his vanity and occasional self-consciousness, he is a deeply thoughtful individual beneath his flamboyant exterior. He has striking gold eyes and silver hair, a stark contrast to Yuki’s violet eyes and grey hair. His greatest fear is being utterly alone. Interestingly, Ayame was the student body president in high school, much to Yuki's surprise. In his youth, Ayame initially neglected Yuki but later became determined to win Yuki's affection upon realizing he would be lonely without him. Over time, Yuki has gradually begun to accept Ayame as his brother.
