Anju is Karin's younger sister, and she adores her to the point of obsession. She is willing to do anything for Karin. Anju has not fully awakened as a vampire, making her somewhat sensitive to sunlight, which limits her school attendance to overcast days. Despite this, she has remarkable control over bats.

Anju is very reserved, speaking softly and dressing in Gothic Lolita fashion. Boogie-kun is her cherished companion, one of her favorite dolls among her collection.

In the anime, Anju's blood preference upon awakening is jealousy, while in the manga, it is loneliness.
