Alyssa Searrs is a ten-year-old elementary school student renowned for her exceptional singing talent in the choir, earning her the nickname "Golden Angel." She is often seen accompanied by her caretaker, Miyu Greer.

It is later revealed that Alyssa is the result of the Searrs Foundation's genetic engineering program aimed at creating a "fake HiME." With her ability to manipulate higher-order matter, Alyssa can control her Child, Artemis, a satellite orbiting Earth capable of firing a powerful energy beam at specific targets. She can also summon and control her own Orphans. Despite her abilities to control Artemis and Orphans, Alyssa cannot summon an Element for self-defense.
