Aldred, the adopted son of Kain van Envurio, the headmaster of the vampire school, is considered the most unlikely vampire at the Mercenary Specialized School and seen as a failure. Despite this, his team members, whom he leads, respect him deeply for his dedication and genius. Aldred, the vampire protagonist born without a Lineage Weapon, has spiky black hair with white bangs. He possesses immense physical strength but acknowledges that it pales in comparison to the power of Lineage Weapons, which troubles him, though he tries not to let it show. His teammates greatly respect him, recognizing that he is far from a failure. He meets Kei, assigned to his team by his father, and drinks his blood to draw out the Holy Lance, enabling them to combat the blood-drinking Vampires.
