Boy #14 Akira Tsukioka is the only homosexual student in his class. In both the novel and manga, he is part of Kiriyama's street gang. His father owns a gay bar where Akira often performs. Akira identifies as a woman internally and has an extremely narcissistic personality.

After witnessing Kiriyama eliminate the other members of the gang, Akira, who is skilled in stealth, devises a plan to follow Kiriyama until he kills off all other participants. Akira then intends to kill Kiriyama, thereby winning the game. However, Kiriyama becomes aware that Akira is stalking him and tricks Akira into staying in a Forbidden Zone. As a result, Akira's collar detonates, severing the upper half of his head and killing him instantly.
