Mimasaka is arguably the kindest and most mature member of F4. His family holds significant power in Japan's underground world—in the manga, they own a large trading company. He remains calm most of the time and rarely loses his temper, but when he does, even Domyoji knows to steer clear. Akira is one of the group's two playboys, with a preference for older women, partly due to his mother's immature behavior. He has twin younger sisters. Interestingly, Akira is the only F4 member who prefers using cash over other forms of payment. A special chapter revealed that he harbored romantic feelings for Tsukushi because she saw him for who he truly was and appreciated him genuinely. Tsukushi also made him realize his role as a stabilizing force within F4—if he ever left, the group would likely fall apart. However, he kept these feelings hidden out of respect for his friendship with Tsukasa. Additionally, he often teams up with Sojiroh to tease Tsukasa about his virginity.
