Vagabond Chapter 246 Discussion

Yeah I don't hate him now, he was such a bastard before but now he changed.

Matahachi you pathetic bastard, you won't convince me otherwise.

It was selfless of him to say that to Otsu.

I respect how Matahachi has moved on from Otsu. Given his shitty personality I wouldn't have expected it, but I guess he's growing in his own way.

It's just bloody awesome how the mangaka can make you sympathize a lose like Matahachi. Definitely looking forward how it will develop.

After making us slightly sympathetic to Matahachi, I really really hope he gets better now.

So Matahachi isn't that pathetic, at least he saved Takezo 2 times.

Poor Takezo, he wouldn't be that badly injured if he had a 220 pounds sword from the beginning lol

What

a

chapter!

I kneel Inoue-Sensei, I kneel. This may be one of the best chapters in the entire series!

Matahachi mans the fuck up and possible redemption arc incoming!

Otsu was drawn so beautiful in this chapter, amazing Inoue-Sensei!

Musashi perhaps not being able to live by the sword like before!

Thats how you write good simple drama! Fuck Vagabond is pure peak. The last 7 Volumes were utterly insane and the quality is not dropping, mind blowing.

Most of us hate Matahachi but we must admit he is really well written and feels really realistic. The truth is 99% of us would be Matahatchi and not Musashi and that's the cold truth. I feel like a redemption Arc is in coming but I fear he will die at some point. I don't see him getting away with all of it and living in peace.

Otsu and Musashi will be interesting. Musashi will do everything to challenge Kojiro, so I fear Otsu would need to wait for him, but can she do it? Would that be fair to make her wait an unknown time? Hell he might die and never see her again. Man I am really on the edge of my seat and just want to know what happens next!

I just hope that Otsu and Musashi will live happily ever after once he puts down his sword. But I fear it might never happen....

Well let's see what happens

Seems Matahachi is trying to be a better man, but with all his done he's going to have to work very hard to regain any dignity he still possesses.

I do sympathise a little bit, but i still think Matahachi is a pathestic excuse for a person. He is where he is through his own actions. Let's see if he maybe now tries to turn his life around. The fact that he has accepted his own mistakes is a good sign, so maybe he'll try and live a more honest life from now on. Great drama from the mangaka, like Uhnnown said.
