It's interesting the way these two interacted with one other. Musashi's reflections were deep also. I really hope they don't end up killing each other.

And i always love when Vagabond takes this introspective turn. The introspection itself seems vague but given Mushashi's character, it suits him very well.

Musashi was his own demon! He lost his connection to the surrounding and was only winning by luck, because he himself got to obsessed with winning and becoming the best and believing he had won these duels because of great swordsmanship! But he was wrong and realized it now! He drove the sword, the people around him and the surrounding away from himself!

Musashis and Kojiros relationship is going to be so interesting!

Let's see were this realization will take Musashi!

One of the best chapters. The thought process with which Musashi came to realizing what made him stray from the way. His original way of being; was himself. It takes a very strong willed man to come to terms with themselves so they can truly understand where they're going in life and what they're doing, and Musashi just unlocked some core revelations. He didn't need to fight all those pointless battles. It was so heartwarming seeing him smile as he was swaying and swinging his stick around. I hope he can forgive his childhood self for going off the way where he would be taught from his environment and not be taught by duels, ranks, kills, etc.



In this chapter I resonated with myself being somewhat off the "path" that I or people that know me expected to take. I can empathize with Musashi here. I am sorry to my younger self for taking you off the path and am know figuring out how to best get back to that path. Thank you Takehiko Inoue for writing this inspiring manga.
