It was nice/interesting seeing Musashi questioning his approach to his fights. What if he could win without using his sword...?

Matahachi breaking down as his failure and lies catch up to him....

And Otsu wants to die?!?! Her feelings are probably all mixed up, because of Matahachi and Musashi....

Let's see what this New Year brings for our characters!

Musashi realizing that just by surviving alone doesn’t t mean you're the strongest. Eventually you'll grow old or dull and be cut down from some aspiring swordsman who wants to just make a name for themselves. I think he's finally starting to arrive on the cusp of what it means to be truly strong.

I can't wait for Matahachi and Musashi to meet again.

i love mushashi's depth. He seems like a simpelton at first glance but he is very self reflective. Kind of like guts
