It was a good volume.   The art is superb.

That was just so powerful... This manga is just so incredible, no words can explain how much it means to me.

It's a little weird to say this but I'm so happy Inoue-sensei decided to become a mangaka and is constantly challenging himself. Vagabond and Slam Dunk were already masterpieces but he challenged himself even more with this work.

(Btw I loved that Kiyoharu was there to pick Nomiya up at that specific place, as if Hugo had returned or as if Kiyoharu's his successor and will guide Nomiya to his new path, just like Hugo awoke Nomiya's love for basketball)

(I'm still afraid that Kiyoharu's disease will return at the worst possible moment)

I get it. I really do.

I did Jiu jitsu and i was like Nomiya, lots of heart and dedication but no real success. It just hits me seeing what this chapter was trying to say, it's not about getting to the top it's about being the best you. This manga in general is way too real for me.

Bro is LAID OUT. Got his ankles broke so hard that he started getting PTSD flashbacks of his motorcycle accident. But you know what, he got back up feeling joyous right after that. Thats my boy.

Unfortunate that he couldnt make it on the lightnings, but im not sure what else i was expecting. nomiya was simply outclassed in every way possible except for his GOLDEN heart. Hopefully he can improve even further in basketball since he has mad potential as a point guard. He's also only 18 years old! Bro is fresh out of high school and doesn't have much experience yet, there's an entire milky way's room for growth. Knowing nomiya's pure determination, im sure he'll pull through in the future....hopefully he doesnt give up hope for his path.

----------------------------------------

                        Chapters 60-66.

It had such SlamDunkish feeling, I loved it. Inoue sees himself in Nomiya, I believe so. Many things to anticipate in the future. What a great piece of art.

Now we know how Nomiya transformed from being the bullied into being the bully. LOLjk. But I am really loving how Nomiya is improving himself, which takes a lot of courage and dedication. Now we also know how he got into basketball. :>
