Blade of the Immortal Chapter 168 Discussion

Well. The shira fight comes to an end, with him getting unceremoniously eaten by dogs. Rest in piss to a goated antagonist. Shira was so unapologetically cruel; it was honestly entertaining to see. Alot of the antagonists here have some sort of humanity to them, like habaki or anotsu. But this guy was just a straight demon.



The fight between shira and manji is definitely the best fight so far, i like that one panel where they were slicing each other up so quickly that neither meguro nor taito could step in. Art was top tier, I missed the pencil drawings because the mangaka doesnt really utilize that tool much in these later chapters.

Finally, Shira died a horrible death!
