Blade of the Immortal Chapter 12 Discussion

I really really liked this arc and its message!

And I really liked the character of Makie and her interactions with Manji. As well as the relationship between Rin and Manji and how Rin (as well as Makie) remembered the original reason for their life choices/styles!



And in this case, I found Makie's romantic love/dedication to her cousin really well portrayed, realistically rendered and a great alternative to what Rurouni Kenshin has been dishing out when it came to similar archetypes, not to mention how badass she is and how awesome her fighting style is drawn

Strongest volume thus far.

Pretty good arc, it just sucks that you have to read it from left to right...

Hm. I didn't like the message from this arc. Also, the woman seemed a bit too opportunistically strong to be entirely believable.

Still, a good read so far.
