Wow. Uh... I honestly don't even know what just happened there. I feel like I went through the stargate at the end of 2001: A Space Odyssey where we watched Tetsuo re-experience his own birth and growth at lightspeed. Somehow Akira had something to do with it, but he remains as elusive as ever.
On top of that, who should finally appear for the first time in the flesh through this entire volume? None other than Kaneda! Just in time to miss everything lol.
