Akira Chapter 55 Discussion

Episode 55: Pages 101-117 of volume 4 of the Kodansha publication.



So in that last chapter when I was curious to see how Kaori's character would develop... yeah, I take it all back. I was definitely not eager to see her getting lured into human trafficking like that. Then again, I suppose it's not a true cult without the leader turning the women into sex slaves à la Jim Jones.



As for the vision Tetsuo had, it must've been a lot of foreshadowing, because it makes very little sense right now.
