This chapter served to explain to the characters Naraku's Machiavellian plan. It seems like InuYasha has some advantage, but it's very suspicious; Naraku wouldn't be destroyed so easily. I wonder if, even when against him, he enjoys fueling people's hatred. Why, instead of lying to Sango, does he tell her the truth, even knowing it would make her extremely angry with him?
