Also, am I missing something, but why was Hayate sorta taken aback at seeing Hisui's scar?

I felt Hayate was stunned to see how greedy and selfish Hisui is. She reminded him of his parents. That scar showed that she is prone to violence. She is not afraid to get a little blood on her hands to attain her goal. Hayate understands that he can never let his guards down around her.

Damn, things really took a serious turn o_o Hisui's pretty crazy

Y'know, I wonder if Hayate's parents will play a role in the final arc since it's been like...since the beginning of the manga since we've seen them or something, and plus he mentioned them after quite a long while. I think the last time was during the Ruka manga arc? Or, not really play a role, but finally make an appearance or something

Also, could that "bomb" between Nagi and Hayate possibly be the impeding danger Hisui poses? Man, I really wanna know where those negative emotions are gonna come from

Anyway, I actually kinda like Hisui and hope there's more to her motives other than just greed.

I feel it would be better if Hisui does not have a reason for what she is doing. It will make her even more scary as an antagonist.

About Hayate's parents I don't feel they will show up again. Hata did not even give them face.

About the bomb, even I feel Hisui and her maid might set it off. But Hata has almost always surprised me. The imminent future is cloudy for Nagi with an absolute heart-break from Hayate.

Even if she did kill the old man she wouldn't have the key.  I'm sure the lock is nearly unpickable.

Whoa Hisui is scary.. She seems to be a perfect character for the final arc (irrespective of whether or not she is the actual villain)

And can someone tell what old man sanzenin meant by "she is the worst girl for hayate" ?

Did he mean that she is the worst possible  opponent for him ? Or was that a warning that she might try to make hayate fall for  her ?

Either way, loved the chapter. (And suddenly seeing nagi, after watching Hisui

, made Nagi look so child-like & pure :p )

                        ----------------------------------------

Tbh, that was a pretty close call. If Hayate wasn't there to block that attack, it could of been a lot worse. I wonder what plans Hayate has in mind to protect Nagi's future?

If Hisui is motivated by pure greed, that would make her a surprisingly fitting Last Boss. Like Hayate mentions in this chapter, he always was wronged by greed and fought against greed. His most prominent quality is selflessness - the opposite of selfishness and therefore greed. Hisui just might turn out to be an ultimate Anti-Hayate, perhaps with lots of unreasonable luck to further counter Hayete's endless bad luck.

Replace that last line with "hinagiku's future"

10/10 best chapter

Hmm. I guess so.

Yeah, I know, but I still feel it's in the realm of possibility. Took Hayate like 200~300 chapters to meet up with Ikusa again ever since him being shown in the End of the World arc, so I feel like the possibility exists for his parents as well, especially since he mentioned them in this chapter and we're presumably on the last, or one of the last arcs. I mean, I understand I'm jumping the gun there with my assumptions, but still. lol

Yeah, I agree. Heart-break from Hayate seems like an absolute since Hayate has never really shown any interest in romance with Nagi, but there'll probably be more than just that, whatever it is.

Also, am I missing something, but why was Hayate sorta taken aback at seeing Hisui's scar?
