certainly the best chapter in recent days ... I ENJOYED EVERY SINGLE CONVERSION........ especially between hayate and hina....

Completely seriously now, Hata-sensei is just amazing. His ability to weave such a serious and emotion packed chapter into the usual random comedy chapters never ceases to amaze me. And now we know that Hina actually does have a shot with Hayate, assuming he is willing to let his love for A-tan go.



I can't wait for Hata-sensei's next work after Hayate. Would love to see what he can do with a more serious setting (slice of life or maybe action adventure?).

A little disappointed that Hayate rejected her, it would be fun for comedy and stuff to see them "dating".



Well, I hope they all come back after he clears his debt.

He turns the other girl down because he thinks her feelings are misplaced and that he can't date her anyway because he has the debt (he doesn't reveal either until he talks with Hinagiku of course). In contrast the way he says it to Hinagiku (what he thinks if Hinagiku truly liked him, which she does) was different, he's not saying that if Hinagiku liked him that he thinks her feelings would be misplaced or a mistake, rather he says being liked by someone like Hinagiku would be wonderful, which is totally different to what he said/tried to assume of the other girl.
