He was in a couple chapters he was one of Hayate's friends from his old high school.



He's the guy in the VERY first chapter/episode, who invites hayate to go to a Christmas party. He also appears again when Hayate borrows the money from Maria after being kicked out of the house.



Also the main character of one of Hata's older manga, heros of the sea, Lifesavers (or something like that?). also, was Ikuza in that?



I loved this chapter, this manga is finally starting to be good again after such a long time of mediocrity.

Does anyone else think the brother is gonna run off the next chapter, as Hayate stupidly signed the IOU already? xD

I think Hayate is stronger than his brother by now. He lost his memory and probably doesn't have as much strength as he would have, because it looks to me like he's been in seclusion on this beach for a while now defending sea life and what not.

Heh, a battle. I'll root for Hayate but he's going to need a lot of help and luck to win this one.
