Shinji thinking about girls' psyche was hilarious

This particular arc about Toji (or episode in the anime) was the one I pretty much disliked tbh. The show literally used Toji as a plot device to invoke more depressing feelings from Shinji. I was hoping the manga would deter from it, but oh well.



Shinji thought processes has really elevated him as a character in my eyes.

Awesome chapter. Shinji really is dense when it comes to girls. And him constantly saying "WHAT!?" was great. I can't wait to see.....what's going to happen in a few chapters.

Well, Toji is the 4th Child. Hikari apparently likes him and I lol'd at Shinji wondering if Asuka was pushy towards him because she likes him. He dismissed it, but I think he was on to something.



I liked the parts where he mulls over his inability to understand anyone, as well as whether or not he wants to forget his mother's death.

                        This was an outstanding chapter.  Shinji’s conversation with Hikari and later with Asuka was a great way to introduce the fact that Hikari likes Toji.

That was a really long chapter. I want to see Asuka speak German more like she does in the show
