                        That was a very interesting way that Shinji handled Toji.  Shinji appears to be more apathetic about himself and the world in the manga than he is in the anime.

Misato still turns me on

Edgelord Shinji vs Redneck Toji is something I never expected

Manga Shinji is built different

Toji seems a lot angrier here and damn at Shinji's response to him on the roof. The scene between Shinji and Misato was nice. Her line about his not being his anymore is kind of harsh, but it's also true.

and now I remembered that angry bully is called Toji, funny guy

Shorter chapter than normal, leading up to the next angel fight. I can't wait to see how the manga handles it.

At least he's smart enough to see people don't care for him, he's just being used

Shinji at times is a bit too callous, particularly about himself. All that does is make things difficult for him and others around him, particularly someone as rowdy as Toji.



Misato's statement about Shinji's body being not his sole property anymore was a bit too straightforward...

Toji is such tsundere.
