I bet Pedro was like an older brother to Rico in the past, before he joined a gang ... Anyways that bit with the freaky chick was freaky ... I don't know why if she has the power to not look like that, she doesn't. Anyways I hope that they turn him in to a cyborg although highly doubt that is what is going on.
Rico seems to know Pedro somehow, I wonder if Pedro was one of those people he mentioned to Elijah that left that neighborhood and became a gangster. I hope Rico isn't in league with him somehow. I doubt it, though.
Also, who exactly is the Automater? Is she perhaps that girl that was in the bonus chapter of the first volume?
