Well, this is just that sort of manga. Good people have been dying or getting injured left and right in this manga. If you aren't used to it by now......

Wow, what an amazing chapter. Like many pointed out, it's rare to see an important character getting injured like this.

Was shock that Helena had to go through that torture... pretty and nice girls seem to get it rough in this series.

I hope Eji exact his revenges!

Yea me too. And I gotta agree with HooHiraiBunny, I thought she was gonna be saved too. I'm totally surprised.

Man, I pity Helena for that. That Pedro guy is really bastard.

Meh, what a twist :x

It's rare to see an important character getting hurt or being killed, there's often a deus ex machina to save them in this kind of situation. The only other anime I saw where they weren't afraid of killing a character that spectator came up to appreciate, was Kaiba.

I'm so used of this kind of stereotype that I thought she would be saved or whatnot.

Surprised. I am. Indeed.

I... I'm just speechless, this manga was just holy brilliant so far...

I just hope this going to last.

Poor Helena. So much shit in her life. :(

I think this drug/prostitute arc is a sub-plot though, so I hope Helena survives and we get back on focus with the main plot.

Eliah's last panel surprised me. He's really developing now, isn't he...

Isn't it the first time he's vowed to kill?

So Manuela must've gotten drugs from someone besides Pedro and that's how this whole thing got started. He actually wanted to skip town with her at one point but she turned him down; makes me wish she was the one who ended up with Helena's injuries. People go to all this trouble to help her but it doesn't even seem worth it.
