It seems like the translator is trying to boost this novel's rating for whatever reason, but I m about to put this one where it belongs, in the garbage can.The concept is quite original. The guy is going to be a target in an otome game from what I understood which might be interesting because the MC in that kind of story is usually a girl. For me, the isekai genre is some kind of a guilty pleasure. I don t expect the story to be perfect, but I hope to see some cliche that I like done in another way. My expectations were low to begin with but holy sh*t this story...The biggest problem of this novel is the main character. When I am reading an isekai, I am trying to immerse myself in the story and there is nothing worse than a character that keeps making "jokes" like his power is 9000 or that says he read other webnovels and this is what he is supposed to do... yeah making your choices depending on some webnovels you read. That some big brain right there. Btw why aren t you laughing he said his power is 9000! you get it s supposed to be funny, cause it s from dragon ball haha so funny dude.If that doesn t bother you, then the way how he acts is surely gonna get on your nerves. Have you ever wondered what an incel looks like? Then check out this badass. He gets rejected by a girl he liked, but he didn t confess to her (she mistook him for someone else). He says it doesn t bother him and I m like euhh ok cool... annnnnnd he starts complaining about her and he keeps doing it even after he got isekai. He says she is a b***h and how he is gonna find better than her, because now he is rich and has a better apperance. Oh yeah I almost forgot about that, he is weirdly obssesed about being a chad as he likes to call himself because of his new apperance and he gets a boner when he réalisés that he is the son of a noble which is supposed to make his life easier. He almost makes you think that he sould ve been reincarnated as a s*ave.Seriously though, within 3 chapters, the MC comes off as a lazy, petty and pathethic dude who has a complex about his former apperance and his lack of appeal to the opposite gender.The way how this is translated doesn t help. I m not that good in english, but I can recognize a story that s well written. I tried to read it, but I couldn't. You see words like chad used and it feels like you re reading something written by a child. Just read the first few chapters and you will see by yourself.
