he gets attacked by a black bear because they (the otheworlders) are left without protection, because the guard that should protect them left them alone, to protect the lady. First this premisse is dumb, if it was that dangerous they should bring more people from the start and not leave weak people from another world alone even in a suposedly safe zone in a place that they know nothing. And the MC gets seriously hurt and if it was not due to the goddess protection he would have died, and he get's pissed not because they are left alone without protection and there's a breach of security, he gets pissed because the duchess blames herself for MC injury (and she should have) the author creates something absurd to excuse her responsability, like sure its the monsters fault, but its her responsability as a leader to give protection and she failed (in this situation its more due to the guard disobediance but she's responsible for the fault of the servants) its like the mayor of a town takes the police out of a region of the city and criminals start to loot, sure thats due to the criminals, but the mayor has responsability to give protection and he would get fired and imprisoned, the author twists the responsability somehow. And to makes things worse the monster that almost killed him becomes his servant and starts to love MC. Sigh....
