A much more bland novel than I initially expected, the premise of the MC being accompanied after 10 years of solitude isn't really touched upon at all, at most he talks to himself out loud. This makes it seem like a generic story where the only reason the MC was teleported before the two waifus before him was so that he could give them structure, food and information to make him seem cooler and reliable.

The MC doesn't really have a personality hes a wild man type (no shirt, always work, unga bunga) who has conquered nature or whatever, but also complains like a 5th grader and is gentlemanly to the ladies which kind of ruins that image. He was also overtly racist at one point which was interesting. The female cast isn't really delved upon too much where I dropped it but they were obviously falling for him because he is their savior or whatever. Of the two there is a healer and a damage dealer, the personalities they have match the types you'd expect. The action of the novel is gorey I guess, but its not very in depth, ie Spoiler

he dug into a giant snake to pop its poison gland, then in a sperate instance dug into a hydra and cut its cerebral cord. There isn't a choreography or even skills its kind of just "she held off the hydra" and the MC swung into the spine until it broke

[collapse]

The translation quality was really good.

Overall its a moderately boring novel (mostly slice of life on an island (setting traps, making shoes, etc)) with a bland MC which tries to lean into gore as its draw but it didn't do anything for me personally.
