This is a cute series where the MC reincarnates as a kobold and evolves alongside his pack mates. There is some adventure and action. However, there is no imagery to boost up the adventure or make any parts of the world particularly memorable. The action scenes may have been good in Japanese, but the translations make them weak and confusing. The scenes are relatively fast-paced, so they don't drag on for too long.

All of the characters are relatively flat, including the protagonist. Sure, he has a background, but he doesn't have much emotional depth at all. There isn't much in the way of developing relationships with other characters either--antagonist, friendly, or otherwise.

One of the biggest problems this series suffers from would be the translation quality. It looks like machine translations with editing to make it a little less clunky. There are plenty of times where it feels like key sentences are missing or details are left out. Lightning is mistranslated as thunder (thunder is sound, not electricity). The most awkward arc so far translates light and dark elves as white and black elves, making an incredibly uncomfortable connection with racism IRL. This is a fun series, so why did the translator decide to translate these terms in such an unsavorable manner? Was that really necessary?

If you really like monsters as protagonists, then you may have fun reading this light series. If you do not, then it really doesn't have much to offer.
