Do note the website is somewhat shitty, and treats you like a thief. It's a javascript-only site that pops up big "Stop thief! You can't do that!" alerts if you dare to do something as dastardly as double click, or do much else. It also hijacks and prevents attempts to select text or even right click. It's basically readable as long as you don't regularly wish to do highly suspicious sh*t like select text, or right click. And as long as you don't mind occasionally being called a thief when you hit some inputs it doesn't like. What a great experience...Most insultingly of all, no actual aggregator will ever be bothered by such things. Only real readers will deal with their annoyances and accusations of thievery.---It's alright. I was honestly expecting more from the reviews I saw, though. The first chapter or maybe two are a bit misleading. The tone in them just doesn't match what the story ends up as. It's pretty much a basic "I did this, then I did that" slice of life novel. There isn't much in the way of character development, nor comedy. Like most any novel, it's not devoid of comedy, but it's certainly not a driving theme. The lack of character development is a big blow for this novel. With a bit more time there this would probably easily end up being pretty good. As is, it's merely okay.If you're up for some slice of life in a generic Japanese fantasy world and have nothing better to do... sure. But it's the kind of thing you read because it's easier than actually figuring out something else to do.
