The death flags were everywhere but fuck man, this one hit hard.

Well, sad chapter was sad. =(



I can't believe Gesicht, the main character, was killed off in volume 6. And there's two volumes left! What now?

Nooo, Gesicht can't be dead! It's so sad ;_,

I refuse to believe Gesicht is dead. He's the driving force behind this great story.

To be honest, since I saw the 80s Astro Boy anime's take on this series I could see Gesicht's death coming from miles away. I hope it isn't permanent though. I really liked him and teared up as soon as I saw him drop in that sequence of panels.

Btw, I don't think that Gesicht and Atom are dead. Urasawa does things like this in his works, I won't say examples because spoilers, but it's true.

The first few pages were so masterfully drawn! :((( this is so sad;;

Gotta say, Dr. Tenma is also a very intriguing character..

This whole volume was absolutely phenomenal.

This is definitely a riveting contender for my favorite chapter of this manga! I've only read up to volume 6, but I truly loved it. Everything flowed so well, and all the puzzle pieces scattered across the previous volumes came together beautifully in this chapter.



I'm feeling quite empty from Gesicht's death, it doesn't feel real. Same with Atom's death. Subconsciously, I'm hoping that their deaths would be reversed, and everything will be fine in the end. But, I don't think that will be the case. I'm sad rn ;(. But I'm excited to read the next chapters!

This chapter makes me so sad. First Atom then Gesicht, i can't take this anymore..
