After 24 chapters, it's safe to judge that this is a brain-dead read. The settings given to the characters are so flawed. First of all, our FL has a twin sister who grew up poor in the countryside, but somehow when they are out with their peers, everyone treats FL as a gold digger who keeps on pestering her twin sister to bring her to events. This is an excerpt from one chapter:"She turned her attention to Luo Xi and spoke with a disapproving tone, 'Sister, didn't I warn you before that we are not at the house? You really have the courage to say anything you want, and are not at all scared of offending anyone. Say sorry to Senior Zhou now!'"It doesn't make sense, right? Why is the ACTUAL bai fumei treated like it's her first time being exposed to wealthy events? Their peers all come from a wealthy background, so why do they all just accept all the lies that come out of her twin sister's mouth? Mind you, she has just returned to their family for only 2 years.Another thing, I don't know if it's the author's fault or the translator's, but the FL's age changes in the story often. Some times she's 20, other times she's 18. After reaching 350+ chapters, the author is really confused. The author also forgets that the FL is married! Here's an exerpt:"Luo Xi grabbed her in time, looked at Xu Xiaoyu and said: 'I just have other plans, what can you do? I don't have a boyfriend, and I have the right to pursue handsome men when I see them, unlike some people who have... Luo Xi is single after all, so there is nothing wrong with being interested in others."Despite the writing issues, I stayed to read because the romance part is so sweet and amusing. The FL and ML love each other so much and it's so nice to read whenever their romance is the focus of the story. Unfortunately, I'm gonna stop reading at c477 bc the FL decided to be an actress. It's a pet peeve of mine whenever a perfect rich all-powerful FL goes into the entertainment industry when it doesn't fit her position at all.
