Usually these kind of stories tends to have reincarnation or just older MCs in general but this one just focuses on one pure kid. Larunda isn’t the best MC ever but I really liked her growth. As time went on she slowly starts to mature and learn more about the world she is in. And that’s my favorite part of this wn, growth, most characters experiences it. Be it Gaius’s struggle against humans or the prince finally doing something for himself, they all have some form of growth. Ofc this novel isn’t perfect, I feel the chapters are too short and the switch between perspective is kind of jarring since one moment you will be chilling with Larunda then next moment there is a revolution. Some characters felt underdeveloped so they ended up feeling a little flat (maybe it was fixed in the LN idk). The pacing is really slow and due to that things happens so slowly that sometimes it felt nothing is happening at all but I didn’t mind. Overall it’s a pretty enjoyable pass time read, chill story, enjoyable characters, and a really solid translation.
