In the novel we find out through one of MLs friend that the ML puts the FL name as "Little Dimple" in his contact list. The friend immediately looked at the ML as if the nickname has a double meaning that only if you are chinese you would understand. I didn't know so I kept reading on but then when I saw the title, it dawn on me that maybe it meant little sweetheart because the title itself says that! That was the biggest lightbulb moment I had ever since I began reading these chinese novel. Loll, I may be wrong but to me it all just makes complete sense. Like other reviews mentioned. ML never said he was interested from the start but boy was already swift away by our FL from the start and the proof is in the nickname he gave her, so innocent yet adorable. Nothing weird or creepy about that because the author wrote it in a more realistic way of how any regular love relationship start.
[collapse]I did not finish the story but so far I enjoy the interaction between the two lead. Some parts are boring when you read the mtl version but I'm sticking through it because it looks quite promising to me.
