I watched the drama series and read part of the book (basically skipping the boring parts). I didn't give it a star rating since I didn't exactly read the entire novel. Wow, what a tear jerker. I have to say this is one of the stories where I absolutely hated the idiotic paranoid ML, he totally got what he deserved (but he was also limited by his culture and society at the time). Both FL and ML were very unlucky to be living in an era where polygamy was the norm among nobility, which is what doomed them from the start. Maybe the romance is more realistic, the summary doesn't give enough info, I'll give an important spoiler here:Spoiler
The FL dies of illness, this is a BE (bad ending) romance.
