The MC is a guy who had an ambiguous position throughout his life: he's a duke's son but the dukedom is about to collapse, dirt-poor and doesn't receive any respect from other nobles; he's not terrible at fighting but has no real talent; he's not lazy, but doesn't feel the need to put in too much efforts, etc. And then, everything went wrong when the Witch of Winter completely froze the land and he had to run away to survive. He was thus considered a traitor and put in jail, until they decided to form a subjugation party with him has a guide. The party was full of young women who, somehow, fell for him. But what happens when you put women who can't properly express their feelings together with a dense guy? Well, obviously, the MC ended up thinking he was bullied by the girls: the elf despises humans, the Saintess is a monster-level nag, the Princess is a sad*st and the childhood friend treats him like a pet... he thinks. Then the party confronts the Witch, he dies during the process, only to regress ten years back and wake up in bed with the younger Witch sleeping by his side. But he's not the only one who regressed. The whole party is back from the future, and, this time, they plan to properly convey their feelings and win him over... but he dislikes them and wants nothing to do with them. That's the guist of it.Truthfully, there are a lot of mysteries in that story. I keep on reading because I'm pretty curious about so many things...But, I have to say I have a problem with the MC. On one hand he is quite lenient with the Witch, who supposedly destroyed his life, or the fiancé, who broke his heart, while on the other hand he can be really cruel toward the other girls, even though, aside from the childhood friend (who didn't know how to interact with the only person she has ever loved (family members included) and ended up bullying him), they really didn't do anything that bad to him (the Princess' training was harsh, but at the end of the day, it was only to ensure his survival). He doesn't seem to care about anything and doesn't try his best in anything even after getting a second chance. He just plans to live his life while avoiding the heroines and that's it.I get that he will probably change later, but still, seeing the story from his perspective is quite frustrating because I can't relate to his feelings at all and, truthfully, I don't think he deserves their love.
