Well all in all, not truly a terrible novel, could use some work in explaining Cry’s unbelievable luck even this far into the story, maybe people who have read MTL might have some answers. The characters comprising the group of Strange Grief are pretty decent, wish they would get more “screen time” like Luke, Anthem, and Lucia. Though a few gripes I’d have to say areSpoiler
How Eliza, their one new/recent recruit and only spirit person teammate just doesn’t get much story besides using her to introduce us into the world tree arc which is well...a big shame since obviously we only know her thanks to the fact she never seems to be in the same place as Cry which is technically part of her character I suppose but still a letdown in terms of potential character development and team introduction.
[collapse]Other than that, I do hope the story builds more into Cry’s well “mysteries” if you can call them that, though probably would be chalked up to just the world letting him be lol. Sasuga Cry!
