This story is angst heavy. The relationships in this story is just stressful. MC is depending on his mission to return back home, but no one is following the script. The urgency MC experiences is just fretful and doesn't contribute much to the plot. This just happen which can make it quite a drag to read.I'm looking forward to the ending everyone else is talking about, and so far I do like the foreshadowing seemingly to lead up to it. As it's the only relationship that isn't anxiety-inducing for our MC. A lot of this story is ab*se and unwillingness. @Mmailah's spoiler truly does describe the love interest's dynamic with the MC with a single word.I still have to give props to the writing though. The author does get those dynamics across to us as readers.
