I Think The Genre Has Changed Chapter 27 Discussion

Story wise, expectedly nothing much has happened from where I stopped (literal sense, I didnt drop it lol) tho I wouldve liked just a teeny plot progression atleast. The other male leads warmed up to MC pretty quickly? (Or am I just used to slow burn). He isnt op right off the bat, theres an abrupt flow of things, like he didnt even get the chance to actually avoid the ppl he wanted to avoid HAHAHA its kinda funny so im not complaining

With the translation, im gonn have to agree with previous commentors BUT honestly compared to other translations, this one is pretty decent. The narration doesnt make your nose bleed and is actually comprehensible. There is def some grammatical errors sometimes but not all the time that its notable. The issue lies in the dialogues mostly, sometimes the exchange in convo gets mixed up and youre not sure who is talking, sometimes it doesnt make sense which ruins the immersion for me TT (I love haewoon, he talks alot and I feel the conversatioms wouldve been actually entertaining). This novel wont need heavy editing, I just hope it was proofread so some parts that were clearly overlooked can be fixed. Especially with the misgendering of Seowoo, I thought it was a one time thing but he keeps getting refered to with She/her

I read alot of slowburn before this so, in general its okay that theres STILL very little plot progression but idk- I dont see where the story is heading. I wouldve liked too see some crossovers with the original males leads and female lead of the original novel, I wouldve liked to see more of the og female lead herself but shes barely there. Its almost like she only appears to show that they still exist somehow and somewhere. Its still somehow entertaining so im gonna keep going. From here on, alot of the characters actually talk but since like I said- the mistranslations fall in the dialogue and naming the characters so this makes it that a huge chunk of this book hard to read now. The characters speaking gets so mixed up with the names that I have to figure out myself who is actually talking through context clues.
