It’s a comedy and I really like the FL. She’s blunt, easily triggered and will resort to violence, but only with people who deserve it. What’s stopping me is the FL’s parents. I thought we wouldn’t have to see them much because she says in like the first chapter they ditched her with the responsibilities of the Duchy so they could go on a second honeymoon, and the joke with their characters is they’re disgustingly in love, constantly affectionate with each other. It feels problematic though, Spoiler
they don’t care about the FL, their daughter. It was bad enough they ditched her with the responsibility of the duchy, but it gets worse by chapter 7. The FL can read minds, they know this, and you need to be engaged to inherit a title in this story. They fawn over the ML and treat him better than the FL in this chapter even though she straight up says she doesn’t like him and find him annoying. Then they want to marry her off to him just so they can once again ditch her with the responsibilities of the duchy even if she’s miserable. For me, this takes all the comedy out of their bit and takes me out of a comedy mood
