I agree with the other commenter, the plot is unexpected and it definitely is not boring

It's also a short story, I finish it in like 6 hours

Lian Zhou (Shan Yu's childhood friend who's also transmigrated) fall in love with the emperor, go to the capital with him with the promise that he'll disperse all the harem and marry him to the position of empress (which Shan Yu laugh at cus it's basically impossible). Turned into a pregnant neglected concubine in the cold palace. Lost his eyesight and escaped with the help of emperor's sister. Give birth at the forest, met up again with Shen Yu and his Wen Qiu, apologize to Er Zhu and wish him a good life with his wife.

In the end, LZ didn't get to transmigrated back through the portal and sacrificed his blood so the others could go back. Emperor got him back and destroy the portal.

Turns out Emperor didn't lie, he dispersed all his harem and marry LZ to be the Empress.

LZ never talk or do anything to the Emperor till the day of the wedding when he ask, "You'll remember this day as the most important day for the rest of your life?" Along those lines and the Emperor got all happy and said yes excitedly.

LZ then jumped down from a tower, in front of his newlywed husband and the whole crowd, crushing his body and leaving no piece intact.

The best part? It went in the history of that world, written in every school history book.
