Junjou Romantica Chapter 86 Discussion

Do you think the manga will end soon? I get the vibe that after Misaki tells about their relationship to Takahiro, the ending will come soon. Don't you feel the same?

                        If Misaki gathers the courage to have the talk with his brother, that's gonna be some major character development for him. I'm so eager to see that! And I hope Usagi will be there, just the way Misaki imagined it.

My body is ready!

(if only he could also stop denying that he likes Usagi fucking him, but oh well, I can't have everything...)

Yeah, it does feel like it’s approaching its end... Until now it’s been pretty repetitive: Misaki does something or meets someone, doesn’t tell Usagi, Usagi finds out anyway, jealousy ensues, conflict/fight starts, Misaki blurts out something that leaves Usagi speechless, the whole thing ends in sexy time, rinse and repeat (don’t get me wrong, I still love it).



But now, finally something major is about to happen, something we’ve been waiting for so long... and we associate that with “the final confrontation”, and then we expect the resolution and the happy ending. But who knows, maybe they’ll change the formula, make Misaki act more mature (he’ll be a working adult soon)... Or maybe they’ll change the focus on other couples... I bet a lot of people wouldn’t mind that. We’ll just have to wait and see.



On the other hand, when you think about the fact that the manga has been publishing for 15 years... well... yeah...



Yes, I think it'll focus in the other couples too. I feel like egoist is sort of lacking something, I don't know how to explain it.

I hope that Nakamura comes up with another manga, since Sekaiichi is in a same note too.

For now I'm guessing that he's gonna argue about it with Misaki, but only to see his resolve and check whether he's serious about it, and then finally accept their relationship. He was shown to be super kind through the series after all. Maybe he'll test Usagi as well to see if he can entrust Misaki to him?



But I also hope that it's gonna be one of the final arcs, I got a bit tired of this manga, even though I love the main couple. It's been 20 volumes already, time to end it :v

Huh, I doubt that it's gonna turn out that Takahiro is homophobic or something, JR is a happy-go-lucky, fluffy series after all.



For now I'm guessing that he's gonna argue about it with Misaki, but only to see his resolve and check whether he's serious about it, and then finally accept their relationship. He was shown to be super kind through the series after all. Maybe he'll test Usagi as well to see if he can entrust Misaki to him?
