I love the friendship between the MC and the FL so much, truly besties, the definition of good friends. You know, if it were any other type of novel, this type of doormat FL who can't ever speak up for herself would be too annoying to read about, naive and weak-willed. But here... I think the novel does a really good job at showing how different it feels reading about someone like that and meeting someone like that in real life.In a novel, it's so infuriating, wondering why can't you ever defend yourself, why are you so kind to people that obviously don't deserve it? But, like the MC, I think that if I ever met that type of person in real life, I'd only be able to think, wow, you're really such a good person, I don't know how you can have such a big heart, it's so admirable. Then, who could care about foolishness? I'd only be amazed such a pure character exists in this world. I guess it's easy to be uncharitable as a reader.I wish nothing but the best for the MC and the FL, hoping they stay friends always, everyday spent without regrets. Have a good life, be happy, it's nothing you don't deserve.
