So, you know how in normal harem romcoms the guy is always pushed around by the girl side characters? How it's to the point of basically bullying? This guy just... doesn't let that happen. He gets hurt by highschoolers being highschoolers and he just drops them. And it's refreshing. He knows his own worth. He knows in their eyes he's average on all accounts, just a guy that is 'convenient' for the side characters to use. So when they say or do stuff that hurts him, he cuts them off.For the cliche genre this is refreshing, and I dare say healthy. MC isn't a sandbag to be ab*sed.
