Well, not crush but infatuated, just like Impala said. Why else would she remember that at that moment? She felt relieved when she saw that he's alive and remembered the kiss because she probably liked it.

She remembered the kiss when she saw Kaos. Like wtf.

She probably just remembered his powers.

I would say this page implies that. Priorities and all. I mean, didn't he use his powers while kissing her, for first and last time?

                        Kaos was Den. I didn't see that coming. And Alita seems to get infatuated. Again.

Oh WOW now that was a plot twist!

So Kaos manages to survive and kills the ninjas, but then he goes mad and tries to attack Alita. Turns out he's actually Den and has a split personality. Alita dodges his attack as a flash floods comes storming in. She manages to save him and escape the flood Waters.

So Kaos has a double personality, and he was Den all along. You never know what to expect in this universe.
